Casey already mentioned but since someone else said it again…acupuncture is covered by many health insurance plans. It is a regulated health care and it is treated as such in most states and provinces in North America.

Love acupuncture but it is not covered so becmes too expensive

Gloria – acupuncture is covered by many insurances. Many people assume it will not be covered and don’t check to see if it’s a covered benefit in their policy. It’s always worth checking with your insurance company if you’re planning on seeking acupuncture treatment.

Acupuncture can also be pretty expensive, especially if more than one session is required. It is not covered by health insurance; therefore, the cost could be prohibitive.
