If you’re overweight, your genes may make it harder to lose pounds. But exercise is a key ingredient for fighting a genetically complicated battle of the bulge.
Laboratory research at the University of New South Wales has shown that exercise and a calorie-restricted diet can prevail for weight loss.
“Eating well is obviously a good thing, but exercise is the key. It was only in this study when exercise was introduced that improvement was recorded,” Professor Morris said.
